Privacy policy
Three services load by default: Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra. Reject stops their loaders and reloads the page; the choice lasts 180 days. Videos are different: YouTube loads only after Play. This describes the build, not a certification of compliance with every jurisdiction.
What loads on a page view
This build loads Google Analytics 4 (property G-V9GE6KE2PY, script from googletagmanager.com), Microsoft Clarity (project z4mz5if7p4, script from clarity.ms) and Adsterra (publisher 3403020, website 6156583: one Native Banner unit and one Social Bar unit served from bicea.org) on the first view, before you touch the banner. That is the default: no stored choice means granted. The banner is a notice with a Reject button, not a gate. Pressing Reject, or a browser that sends Global Privacy Control, turns all three off and stores that choice for 180 days.
The page creates the vendor scripts dynamically. This still makes third-party requests before a choice. Google uses www.googletagmanager.com and regional google-analytics.com collection hosts. Clarity uses www.clarity.ms, scripts.clarity.ms and regional clarity.ms hosts. Adsterra starts at bicea.org; creatives can use static.nresystems.com, cdn.show-creative1.com, cdn.show-sb.com, cdn.cloudpiko.com and cdn.storageimagedisplay.com. The browser audit observed bicea.org, cdn.cloudpiko.com and cdn.storageimagedisplay.com. These are vendor delivery hosts, not additional site accounts. Fonts, editorial images and site CSS are local. Reject stops subsequent loader requests after reload; it cannot retract requests already made or delete third-party cookies.

Hosting logs may exist at the server. I do not receive a copy of those logs in the site repo.
Default loading and your controls
Google Analytics 4 counts page views. Microsoft Clarity collects session replays and heatmaps, including interaction and device information; this is not a promise of anonymity. Adsterra serves a Native Banner above the footer and a dismissible Social Bar. The integration reference marks adult ads disabled. Ads are third-party content, not an endorsement.
The implementation uses default-on loading with an opt-out banner. A technical granted record is not evidence that a visitor actively consented, and this notice does not claim that silence supplies a legal basis for non-essential tracking. Some jurisdictions require prior opt-in. Reject or Global Privacy Control stops the loaders; Cookie settings lets you change the choice. The 180-day preference record is needed to remember that choice.
If the browser sends Global Privacy Control (navigator.globalPrivacyControl), the page treats that as a refusal, stores denied, and does not start the three loaders. A Do Not Track header is not a reliable signal in current browsers; I honour GPC.
Personalised advertising and how to opt out
Adsterra may use IP address, browser information and cookies for advertising. Use this site's Reject control to stop its loaders. Cookie blocking alone does not necessarily stop network requests, fingerprinting or vendor profiling. Controls offered by other advertising programs are not guaranteed to cover Adsterra.
The GA4 property's configured event-data retention has not been independently confirmed; we do not claim 14 months. Microsoft's Clarity FAQ says recordings are normally available for 30 days, with favorites and sampled recordings retained for up to 9 months. Its cookie list describes the cookie purposes. These are single-vendor statements checked 2026-10-28, not independently verified site settings. Adsterra's retention is controlled by its privacy policy. Your rights and how to reach me
You can request access, correction or deletion by writing to [email protected], and can complain to your local data protection authority. This mailbox uses Cloudflare Email Routing and the mail-hub Worker for storage and replies; a copy may be mirrored to the operator's Gmail inbox. Email contains your sender address, message and any attachments. No fixed mailbox retention period is promised here. Vendor analytics and session recordings may be processed outside your country under the vendors' published policies.

Is data shared with advertising providers?
Yes. Default ad requests disclose network and browser information to Adsterra and its delivery partners. There is no account or newsletter here. Reject stops new ad requests on this site; it does not erase information already received by vendors.
How do I change the cookie choice?
Use Cookie settings in the footer. Accept stores granted, Reject stores denied for 180 days and stops the analytics, replay and ad scripts on the next page view.
How do I ask for a correction?
Email [email protected]. If you email, the message is the personal data I then hold in the mailbox.
