How a sentence gets on a page

Editorial policy

Checked 2026-10-28. Unofficial fan guide. Sources linked in the text. Official page: hahadit.itch.io/creepydates.

I would rather leave a cell blank than fill it with a guess. This policy is the rule I used on 28 October 2026, and it is the rule for later edits.

Sources I use

First: the itch game page, purchase page, and devlogs, plus the author's Tumblr. Second: the author's replies in itch comments. Third: player comments and YouTube uploads, named as such, and only when the title and upload date were fetched from YouTube. Third-party guides are clues. They are not copied into fact tables.

Corrections

Email [email protected] with the page and a public URL. If the correction checks out, I change the sentence and the checked date. I do not pay for links, and I do not accept a sponsored route ranking. Screenshots stay credited to Hahadit's itch gallery.

Questions

What counts as verified?

Two independent public sources supporting the same claim. The same author posting on itch and Tumblr is still one source. A lone developer statement or player report is labeled single-source; when sources disagree, we keep both accounts with dates rather than silently choosing one.

What if sources disagree?

Both versions stay, with their dates. Chapter 4 is 25 October 2026 in the devlog even if another site still says it is upcoming.

Do you play the build before publishing?

No. Pages are written from public posts, comments, and videos. A missing in-game check is not filled with speculation.
